Join the Wassaic Project as they celebrate their Upstate Art Weekend! This event, open to all ages and free to the public, will consist of a whole day of programming lined up all around Wassaic. 12 pm – 9 pm. Some special events include:

Wassaic Project Opens Studios at Maxon Mills – Get a special chance to peek at artists-in-residence from the Wassaic Project with the Maxon Mills exhibit. This unique exhibition space is an historic seven-story wooden grain elevator along the train tracks that has been repurposed into a magnificent gallery for contemporary artists. Event is free and open to the public. 3 pm – 5 pm.

Dance Party: ¡Viva Democracía! – Get your dance on with this art weekend event at the Wassaic Project. Music Co-Directors Tim ‘Love’ Lee and Scott Anderson are throwing this dress-up dance party at the Capricorn Dream Sound Machine, where they’ll take you on a world tour of some of the most famous, but entirely fictional, hot spots from the last 100 years. This event is 21+ and tickets are $28. 7 pm – 12 am. This event will be held at The Lantern on
10 Main St in Wassaic.
