Save the date for the opening of the Tall Shadows in Short Order, 2024 Summer Exhibition! The show will feature 30 artists throughout all seven floors of Maxon Mills, with a focus on large, site-specific installations. These include an interactive outdoor site for rest and exchange of plant knowledge by Tiffany Smith, a thirty-language broadcast of the US national anthem by Daniel Shieh, a mountain range made from maps of the US and Argentina by Luciana Abait, a narrative wheel about psychic children in Vietnam by Petra Szilagyi, and, on the top floor, an alternate version of Wassaic in miniature from Cate Pasquarelli’s Museum of Embellished History.
