This exhibition explores the history of creating Wethersfield Garden, among the finest classical gardens in America. The garden is located in Amenia, NY. Evelyn Poehler was the pioneering landscape architect from Sharon, CT who designed the formal, Italian Renaissance garden for Mr. Chauncey Stillman. The exhibition features original renderings, drawings, correspondence, historic photography, contemporary images of this garden on the National Register of Historic Places.
