Geary Contemporary is pleased to announce a two-person exhibition featuring the work of Katy Schimert and Ping Zheng opening Saturday, August 12!

In an enchanting blend of artistic expression, Ping Zheng’s vibrant oil stick landscapes complement the poetic sculptures and drawings of Niagara Falls by Katy Schimert. The two together create a harmonious relation where bold lines and bright colors evoke the sublime beauty of cascading rivers, celestial sunsets, and moonlit horizons. The works are embodied with the ethereal presence of nature’s majestic wonders and lyrical possibilities.

The combined effect between the two artists becomes even more captivating as we delve into the realm of illusion and movement.
