Field and Supply Fair,
Join Field & Supply to shop over 250 vendors and enjoy live music, local eats, and special activities at Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, NY. You’re not going to want to miss it! 10 am – 6 pm.

June 1

Pride Weekend Farm Dinner with Food Hunt at Foxtrot, STANFORDVILLE
Kick off Pride Month with the first farm dinner of the season! An intimate dinner with the fabulous Matthew of Food Hunt under the starry sky! 6:30 pm.

Innisfree Garden Looking at Nature: All Ages Nature Walk, MILLBROOK
Spend an hour exploring the rich natural history of Innisfree Garden with noted horticulturist and Innisfree trustee Brad Roeller, an expert on native plants and plant communities. 10 am – 11 am.

Bear Creek Farmers Market, BANGALL
Join the Bear Creek Farm Farmers Market and connect Stanfordville’s surrounding communities with fresh, locally sourced produce and artisanal goods while fostering meaningful relationships and supporting the local economy. 8:30 am – 1:30 pm.

Standford NY Pride, STANFORD
Join Thomas Equestrian for a day of celebration at the 3rd Annual Stanford Pride Event! Revel in the beauty of our local community as we come together for a lively afternoon filled with music, food, and an array of activities for all ages. 1 pm – 4 pm.

Dinner under the Stars, STANDFORDVILLE
Kick off Pride Month with Foxtrot’s first farm dinner of the season! Food Hunt and the Fizzy Filly join Foxtrot for an intimate dinner under the stars. Food Hunt returns to his roots cooking up what he calls “Elevated Appalachian, Deep Southern Food”

June 2

SEOUL-MATE, PINE PLAINS
South Korea leads the world in dancers of extraordinary technique and unique and distinctive choreography. Sure to satisfy, this varied program comprises an iconic and sensual solo by Won Kim, based on traditional elements, a percussive solo energized by the interaction between costume and dancer by Yelim Kim, and Younghoon Oh’s playful and boisterous quartet. 4 pm – 6 pm at the Stissing Center. 

June 5

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS, MUSIC IN THE PARKS, HYDE PARK

Music in the Parks celebrates 50 years with concerts in June, July, and August at the Vanderbilt and Mills mansions. The first concert will be Hyde Park Central School District’s BANDemonium at Vanderbilt on June 5. 7 pm.

Orvis Shotgun Classic Shooting Clinic, MILLBROOK

The Orvis Shotgun Classic Wingshooting Clinic is an opportunity for skilled shooters to refine their technique under the guidance of a team of internationally esteemed shooting instructors. With two days of personalized instruction, students will get an opportunity to seek out specific tips, tricks, and adjustments that will enhance success both on the clays course and in the field.

“Urban Cuba, Cuba Urbano”, BEACON

“Urban Cuba/ Cuba Urbano” will be on view at the Changolife Art Center gallery at 211 Fishkill Ave Beacon NY in suite #308 in the Ethan Cohen Kube Gallery complex. The opening reception is on June 8 from 5 pm – 7 pm and will run through August 31st. Gallery hours are Saturdays from 1 pm -6 pm and by appointment.

Innisfree Garden Annual Benefit: An Evening in the Garden, MILLBROOK
This year Innisfree will celebrate the influences of China on the concept and design of its landscape, with a special focus on the scroll paintings of 8th-century poet and painter Wang Wei. Innisfree will be honoring Ken Holzberg and Tom Kopfensteiner, who founded the local nonprofit Stonewood Farm in 2013—beautifully designed, like Innisfree, to function harmoniously with nature—for their exemplary service to the Millbrook Community. Enjoy garden strolls and tours and cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. 4 pm – 7 pm

Dutchess Cruisers Car Show, WAPPINGERS FALLS
Dutchess Cruisers will be hosting a car show during their 75th Anniversary Celebration Weekend. This is an addition to the carnival, parade and concerts all weekend. 9 am – 4 pm.

June 11

Canvas Sky by Hideaway Circus at Orvis Sandanona, MILLBROOK

Hideaway Circus is thrilled to announce the upcoming tour of Canvas Sky, an all-new outdoor show from Hideaway Circus. Following the success of three Stars Above tours, this new and unforgettable spectacle embarks on a 35-week journey to over 60 towns in 22 states. They are excited to unveil the first half of their 2024 tour, promising to inspire the imagination and warm hearts across America. Tickets are now on sale.

Dutchess Land Conservancy’s Spring Barn Dance, MILLBROOK

Join Thorndale Farm for a wonderful evening of cocktails, dinner, dancing, and friends. Host and Honorary Co-Chair Felicitas Thorne and Co-Chairs Felicity & Tim Bontecou, Juliana Pecchia, Eliza Thorne, and Jacqueline and Oakleigh Thorne are planning a night to remember! This is a formal event.

Join the Stanford Market for a town-wide yard sale and flea market. 8 am – 2 pm.

Father’s Day Feast at Foxtrot with Nomadic Foods, STANFORDVILLE

Treat Dad to a Father’s Day feast like no other, featuring a bounty of farm-fresh ingredients meticulously crafted into culinary delights. Nomadic Foods is returning to Foxtrot! 6:30 pm.

 

Innisfree Garden Curator’s Tour, MILLBROOK

Join Innisfree Garden’s landscape curator, Kate Kerin, for a lively 1.5-hour tour exploring Innisfree, a powerful icon of mid-20th-century design now recognized as one of the world’s ten best gardens and listed at the highest level—exceptional national significance—on the National Register of Historic Places. 10:30 am – 12 pm.

Summer Solstice Celebration with Westerly Canteen, STANFORDVILLE

Westerly Canteen is coming to Foxtrot to celebrate the Summer Solstice! What better way to kick off summer than with a delicious dinner on the farm. 6:30 pm. 

First Day of Summer at Four Brothers Drive-in, AMENIA

Summer is officially here starting June 20. Get ready for the tastiest, most fun summer ever! The Four Brothers Drive-In has some great things planned this year: celebrity events, new menu items, highly anticipated movies, and so much more.

Live Music Fridays ft Brandon Stoner, PLEASANT VALLEY
Let Brandon Stoner entertain you with his acoustic covers of country, pop, and all-time hits! If you’re looking for some live entertainment and a fun time then visit The Bar on West & Main! They have outdoor seating, dinner specials, late night menu, and good vibes only! 6 pm – 9 pm.

Powerhouse Theater at Vassar College – 38th Season Programming Lineup, POUGHKEEPSIE

Vassar College is pleased to announce the lineup for the 38th Powerhouse Theater Season. The annual summer season brings together some of today’s most influential theatrical voices and welcomes the next generation of theater artists as members of the renowned Powerhouse Theater Training Program. This month enjoy four different readings: This Place Is Definitely Haunted (June 21), Extinction (June 23), Holes in the Shape of My Father (June 27), and Ping Pong Play (June 29).

Bangallworks Scrabble Word Tourney, STANFORDVILLE

Held creekside, this is the fourth annual Bangallworks Scrabble Word Tourney in celebration of Alfred Mosher Butts: inventor of Scrabble and born and resting in the town of Stanford. Start time is 11 am sharp, through early afternoon.

Village of Red Hook Pride Parade, RED HOOK

March with BeckHook Pride through the Red Hook Village streets, to amplify our community pride! Celebration in the municipal lot to follow with music, performances, and light refreshments. 10 am.

Pollinator Garden Fun and Facts, CLINTON CORNERS
Join the Rootseller for a morning filled with fun activities and interesting facts about pollinator gardens, at Ruby Hill Farm on Salt Point Turnpike. From bees to butterflies, learn about pollinators and how we can help them by making several garden projects. 10 am – 12 pm.

June 23

Craft Feast, Shortgown Making with Sarah Jean, PINE PLAINS
In this class, designed for sewing beginners, you will learn how to make basic alterations to a paper sewing pattern, how to cut out your fabric, and how to sew a “shortgown” (a simple top worn in the 18th and 19th centuries) using machine and hand-sewing skills. A mid-class lunch will offer time to eat delicious food and talk about the history of fashion and dressmaking. You will leave the class with a semi-finished shortgown in your size, a pattern, and the skills and tools needed to complete your garment. 12 pm.

June 28

All About Songs, PINE PLAINS

American tenor Daniel McGrew and mezzo-soprano Katherine Beck are reuniting at the Stissing Center. Together, they will present a wide range of repertoire from gorgeous European art songs to beloved American musical theater classics, assisted by pianist and musical director Sophia (Shuhui) Zhou. 7 pm – 9 pm.

June 29

Innisfree Garden Moving Through the Tao Te Ching, MILLBROOK

In this multidisciplinary program, dancer, writer, and movement therapist Cris Caivano will lead participants to points at Innisfree that she feels align with passages implying motion in the Tao De Ching, a revered 2,500-year-old Chinese poem. The group will read and discuss the relevant passage, and then perform site-specific movements choreographed to express the literary and physical ideas around us. 10 am – 11 am.
