Tuesday, August 1, 8:00 to 10:00 PM at the Thompson Pond Preserve

Evenings in Dutchess County bring out some of the most intriguing creatures, including the many moth species. Volunteer lepidopterist Matthew Rymkiewicz will set up two moth attraction areas so we can view and discuss the common and uncommon moths and insects we see at night. Learn about these creatures and their vital and often overlooked role in food webs, pollination, and more all while taking in this beautiful and fascinating collection of nocturnal invertebrates. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp, your curiosity, and a sense of adventure!
