Ariel Dearie: Brass Sculptures at Object & Thing

“For this new body of work, I strived to create permanence in the ephemeral. The sculptures exist between observation and transformation, nature and invention. Poppy Bed Ornament captures the different stages of poppies as they slowly lose their petals, but remain just as beautiful through each fleeting phase.”

Exhibited from August 1–September 13, 2026 at Object & Thing, 11 East Shore Rd., New Preston, CT. —object-thing.com
