Discover the art of soap making with a hands-on class at Clover Brooke Farm! This fun and functional workshop teaches the cold-process technique, empowering you to craft beautiful, all-natural soaps right at home. Whether you’re making personalized gifts for friends and family or simply looking to add a more natural touch to your home, this class is a perfect opportunity to learn, create, and bond with loved ones.
By making your own soap, you’ll avoid synthetic additives like parabens and learn how to blend gentle, skin-loving ingredients in the right proportions. Many commercial soaps contain harsh chemicals that can irritate sensitive skin—this class shows you how to create custom blends that work for your unique needs. You’ll work with nourishing base oils such as coconut and olive pomace, which offer natural benefits and are kinder to the skin with continued use. All soaps made at Clover Brooke Farm are vegan and responsibly crafted on-site.
Your registration fee includes all materials needed to make your first batch of soap, plus a complete starter kit so you can continue making soap at home. You’ll learn how to use essential tools like a 42-ounce silicone soap loaf mold, wooden curing box with lid, mixing bowl, spatula, measuring cups, soap cutter, and more. You’ll also receive recipes, tips, and step-by-step instructions to help you design personalized soaps long after the class ends.
Classes are held in Clover Brooke’s beautifully restored 1850 barn, overlooking serene pastures—a peaceful setting for learning and creativity. Participants must be 16 or older.
