To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s death, the FDR Presidential Library presents a conversation and book signing, “Life and Legacy: Remembering FDR, 80 Years On” with David Woolner, at 6:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Professor Woolner is the author of THE LAST 100 DAYS: FDR AT WAR AND AT PEACE and will sign copies of his book following the program. The event will be held in the Henry A. Wallace Center.

Come join us at Ruby Hill Farm for a fun-filled day of needle felting! Let your creativity flow as you learn how to create adorable Easter eggs using colorful wool and a felting needle. No experience necessary – this event is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike. Meet new friends, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and take home your own handmade Easter eggs. Each person will decorate two eggs. Don’t miss out on this egg-citing event! The class will be taught by Robin Capers.

Please join us on Saturday March 29th as we celebrate the opening of the expanded Mad Rose Gallery at The Mercantile Building at 3-5 Main Street, Millerton NY 

We will host an open house from 1PM to 5PM with a selection of sparkling wines from The Rosenthal Wine Merchant portfolio on offer for your pleasure as you view the newly renovated space in this historic village building. An extensive selection of Kerry Madigan’s photographs covering her 50-year career will be on exhibit. 

While there please also visit the current exhibition of three artists at The Mad Rose Gallery in the original and adjoining space next door and on the corner of Routes 22 and 44.

In this program, designed for adults living with dementia and their care partners, participants engage with one artist or gallery at Dia Beacon with guidance from Dia educators and Dr. Michelle Olson, art therapist and executive director of Evergreen Minds. Following an in-gallery discussion, participants create their own works of art based on their experience.

Please note: this program requires walking through gallery spaces. Seating will be provided throughout the program and wheelchairs are available upon request.

Relocated from Elmira, NY, HC Venom has quickly cemented itself as a force in the Hudson Valley, ready to dominate not just on the ice, but in the community. This isn’t just a team—it’s a movement.
