Little Goat Charms in Rhinebeck
June 26, 2025

There’s a new spot in Rhinebeck that we’re already swooning over. Little Goat is a charming all-day café, bakery, and pantry tucked into a beautifully restored 18th-century townhouse right on Mill Street. The team behind it-Taavo Somer and Erin Winters-have created a space that feels like a cozy escape, full of character, with dreamy interiors that channel Degas ballerinas and a little Nancy Meyers magic.

The shelves are stocked with treasures-French ceramics, vintage pottery, beautiful linens, and thoughtfully sourced pantry items-while the café serves up Mediterranean-inspired dishes using top-notch local ingredients. Chef Brian Paragas (he’s worked at Blackberry Farm and Zahav) is behind the menu, which includes house-made pastas like bucatini with guanciale and rigatoni with pork sausage ragu, as well as standout mains like grilled Hudson Valley steelhead trout with charred turnips.

Whether you stop in for a casual bite, a glass of wine, or a full dinner, you’ll feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special. For now, they’re open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday (later hours on the week-ends), with lunch coming soon.

Reservations are on Resy-and trust us, you’ll want to grab one.
