A Table Set

Dutchess Magazine co-hosted a special, sold-out supper at Stonewood Farm in Millbrook on May 15, celebrating Colu Henry’s new cookbook, Better at Home. Chef Kristen Essig cooked from Henry’s pages: Calabrian Chili and Pickled Pepper Braised Pork with Wild Hive Polenta, and Blueberry Rye Galette with Sweet Potato Custard, all paired with thoughtfully curated wines from Erika DaSilva of Ten Mile Table. Beyond a beautiful evening, the gathering raised funds for Stonewood’s community fridge and prepared 12 meals to share with neighbors. Stonewood’s season continues with monthly Sunday Harvest dinners and pop-up markets.
