Tucked away in Amenia, the Four Brothers Drive-In stands as a hidden gem, delighting moviegoers with its nostalgic atmosphere and delightful food and drinks.
Initially established in 1965, the drive-in quickly gained recognition as one of the smallest drive-in theaters in the United States. Over time, this quaint location ceased to exist due to the modernization of movie theaters and a decline in interest. In 1978, the Four Brothers Pizza Inn made its debut right next store, which prompted them to revitalize the old drive-in movie theater.
Over the past few decades, the drive-in has grown into one of the most popular spots in town, with the ability to accommodate 125 vehicles for every movie. Viewers are able to order food from the Four Brothers restaurant which is delivered right to their car. With new additions such as charging stations for electric cars, mini golf, a playground, a popping arcade, and even an art gallery, the Four Brothers Drive-In has a lot to offer.
Showings are seven nights a week, rain or shine. On June 21st, they kick off the first day of summer with a special celebration, including frozen margaritas, Nutella milkshakes, and other special menu items. On July 4th there will be a fireworks show, lobster rolls, burgers, and live music. At the end of the night, you can camp out by their beautiful fire pit looking up at the stars!
